Weekly training recap: 5/14/12

Another relatively easy week, due to heel pain from the Cinderella 10K and a race on Sunday.

Mon: Rest.

Tues: Rested an extra day due to tender heel.

Wed: Took the foot out for a spin on an easy run around Lake Merritt. No pain! Woot!
Stats: 3.45 miles @ 9:58/mile

Thurs: Rest.

Fri: Pre-race gentle run. One lap around Lake Merritt.
Stats: 3.35 miles @ 10:13/mile.

Sat: Rest. Went strawberry picking, so that’s probably 10-20 squats right there. 🙂

Sun: Tilden Tough Ten. Recap coming soon!
Stats: 10.0 miles @ 10:24/mile.

WEEKLY TOTAL: 16.8 miles.
How I feel about it: SO relieved that my foot is not injured and that I ran without pain this week. Felt good about my performance at the race today. A-
